Stamp of the Royal University of Genoa (size: 4 cm x h. 1.5 cm). Handwritten note reading: "De Planetis scribebat Michael Gen Chinensis anno 1684 1686." The paper on which the Chinese text is written is of Western manufacture and features a watermark composed of three circles with initials.

Description

The book underwent rebinding in the 1970s, carried out by the Legatoria Artistica con laboratorio di restauro, founded in 1902 by Gozzi Cav. Uff. Rolando in Modena. The work exhibits incorrect pagination; the index begins midway through the book and then resumes near the end of the text.
