According to Andrist, the booklets forming this manuscript were written in the 14th -15th century by one principal hands, with the interventions of other different hands, possibly contemporary (“le livre actuel est constitué d'unités écrites apparemment dans le deuxième tiers du XVe siècle par le copiste principal, ou autour de lui, à des périodes différents de sa vie, pour un usage personnel” : Andrist, Codex grecs, 265). The copyists have not been identified. The texts might have been copied and assembled in Constantinople, based on the presence of some notary acts apparently referring to the City.
